Dr. Jacobo Goldberg, MD

Jacobo Goldberg, MD, FAAP, knew early on that he wanted to care for children. He earned his medical degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico School of Medicine in Mexico City. Dr. Goldberg then completed a pediatric internship with the University of Toronto's Faculty of Medicine at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Canada. After moving to Houston, he completed a pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where he gained extensive experience in hematology and oncology.

Board certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), Dr. Goldberg specializes in treating children, who have very different health and medical needs from adults. He believes it is important for children to regularly see a doctor who specializes in pediatrics.

Families living in Alief, Bellaire, Braeburn, Houston, Missouri City, Stafford and Westbury have trusted Dr. Goldberg with caring for their children. They enjoy his gentle bedside manner and the amount of time he spends with each child during appointments. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

As an assistant clinical professor at Baylor in the Department of Pediatrics, Dr. Goldberg spent years mentoring medical students and residents. His compassion for the pediatric field of medicine was evident amongst his students, as well as throughout the community

When Dr. Goldberg isn’t busy seeing his young patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and five grandchildren. He travels with his family as often as he can.
