Dr. Sonober Umair, MD

Dr. Sonober Umair earned her medical degree from Frontier Medical College in Abbottabad, Pakistan and completed her pediatric residency at New York Medical College-Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York City where she was chosen as the best intern and resident.

Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Umair provides comprehensive pediatric care. Her special interests include infant nutrition, pediatric dermatology and childhood vaccines. 

Fluent in Hindi, Urdu and Spanish, she sees patients from newborns to age 18.

Dr. Umair works closely with families providing guidance on growth and development in raising a child. She enjoys teaching children healthy behaviors and watching them grow into healthy, confident adults. 

Dr. Umair and her husband, who is also a physician, have two sons. She likes to spend time with her family, read and exercise.
