A native of Rosenberg, Texas, Dr. Dana Tate completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Prairie View A&M University and her medical degree at Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery through the United Health Services System in Binghamton and Johnson City, New York.
Dr. Tate, who has been in practice since 2005, treats patients of all ages. Her primary clinical interests are sports-related injuries, dermatological conditions and diabetic palliative and preventive care. She has extensive training in minimally invasive surgery, elective surgical procedures, forefoot conditions (bunion, hammertoe and neuroma) and rear foot reconstruction. She also treats flat feet, corns, heel pain, fractures, ingrown nails, fungal nails, warts, rheumatoid feet and gout.
She particularly enjoys working with patients one-on-one in a clinical setting.
Beyond her medical career, Dr. Tate worked with Cleveland’s America Reads program, a local and national effort to improve reading skills of elementary and middle school children. Outside her practice, her main interests are family, travel and the performing arts.
