Dr. Gabriel Maislos earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Tufts University in Medford, Mass., and his medical degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago. He completed a postgraduate training residency at the Houston Podiatry Foundation.
Dr. Maislos is board certified in both foot surgery and prevention and treatment of diabetic foot wounds. He treats foot and ankle concerns including chronic heel pain, bunions, sore feet from diabetes, athletic and accident injuries and cosmetic issues. Dr. Maislos offers his patients individualized and innovative treatment methods, using a variety of techniques ranging from shoe orthotics to surgery and regenerative therapies. He sees patients from throughout the Houston area and speaks Spanish.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a member of the American, Texas and Harris County Podiatric Medical Associations. He has served as principal and sub-principal investigator in a number of clinical trials.
Dr. Maislos places an emphasis on communicating openly and honestly with his patients. He listens to their needs and candidly discusses available treatments in understandable terms, so they are fully aware of their options.
