Dr. Lori J. Hillman received her medical training at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed her podiatric externship at West Haven Veterans in West Haven, Connecticut and the Podiatry Institute in Tucker, Georgia. She then completed her residency in foot surgery at Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency in Houston and Liberty Medical Center Podiatric Surgical Residency in Baltimore, Maryland. This was followed by a fellowship in foot orthopedic surgery at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore.
Board certified in foot and ankle surgery and certified in endoscopic heel and neuroma surgery, Dr. Hillman has been in practice in The Woodlands since 1988. Her clinical interests include pediatric foot care, foot surgery, diabetic foot care, sports medicine, foot trauma and rheumatological foot disorders.
Dr. Hillman takes a conservative approach to care and surgical treatment for patients of all ages and for all types of foot problems such as dermatological foot issues, traumatic foot injuries and systemic foot conditions. She is caring and attentive to each patient’s needs and is willing to spend time to answer questions, explain diagnosis and treatment options and consult with their other physicians to coordinate care for the best possible results. During her 30 years of experience, Dr. Hillman has treated several Olympians.
A resident of The Woodlands, Dr. Hillman has two sons. In her spare time she enjoys cycling as well as springboard and platform diving.
