Sloan Gordon, DPM, FACFAS
Dr. Sloan Gordon received his undergraduate degree in pharmacology from St. John’s University in New York. He then completed his medical training in podiatry at the New York School of Podiatric Medicine and residency training at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center West Haven/Yale University Hospital System in New Haven, Connecticut.
Board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and by the American Academy of Wound Management, Dr. Gordon has been in practice since 1983. His clinical interests include arthroscopic surgery, diabetic foot infections, reconstructive ankle and foot surgery, geriatrics, laser surgery endoscopy, sports medicine and wound care.
Dr. Gordon is chief of podiatry in the department of Surgery at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and Diplomat of the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review. He has written numerous articles and is a national lecturer on wound care and skin grafting for coverage of diabetic problems.
Married with three children, Dr. Gordon enjoys traveling and photography.
