Dr. Sachin Patil earned an undergraduate degree in physics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and his medical degree at the University of Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He completed his internship in the surgical residency program at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu ad his residency at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York.
Dr. Patil is board certified in radiation oncology. He has been in practice, providing comprehensive radiation oncology services, since 2007. His primary clinical interests include diseases of the breast, lung, gastrointestinal (GI) and genitourinary (GU) systems with an emphasis on prostate, bladder and testicular cancers.
He also offers patients therapeutic management including curative treatment and palliative services. His array of technologies includes radiopharmaceutical treatments with Radium-223, rapid and precise image-guided intensity-modulated radiation therapies (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and CT stimulation.
In addition to his clinical experience, Dr. Patil has served as a reviewer for the Journal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics.
