Dr. Michael Mineo, a native of Houston, earned his undergraduate degree from Trinity University in San Antonio and his medical degree at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He completed his residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
In practice since 1999, Dr. Mineo is board certified in urology. He practices general male and female urology with primary clinical interests in robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy and urinary cancer. He also treats erectile dysfunction, vasculogenic impotence, kidney stones, male infertility. overactive bladder, urinary incontinence urinary tract infections and performs vasectomies and vasectomy reversals.
He is a member of the American Urological Association, American Medical Association, Endourological Society, Texas Medical Association, Harris County Medical Society and Houston Urological Society. He also serves as a clinical assistant professor of urology at McGovern Medical School.
