Dr. Kourosh Keyhani, DO, FACS, earned his doctorate of osteopathic medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He completed his residency in general surgery at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He remained in Houston to complete a fellowship in vascular surgery at UTHealth’s Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, under the leadership of the founding chair and professor, Dr. Hazim Safi.

Board certified in vascular surgery and general surgery, Dr. Keyhani has several years of experience in the treatment of vascular disease through open and minimally invasive endovascular techniques. He is a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery, Texas Medical Association, and a Fellow with the American College of Surgeons.

An assistant professor of vascular surgery in the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at McGovern Medical School, he provides vascular surgery services at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center and Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital. He is holds various leadership positions on hospital committees that assist in overseeing the hospitals’ clinical operations.
