Dr. Kousta Foteh, MD

A native Houstonian, Dr. Kousta Foteh earned his undergraduate degree in biology at Texas A&M University and his medical degree at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He completed his residency in general surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, where he served as chief resident, followed by a fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Arkansas.

Dr. Foteh is board certified in general surgery and in vascular and endovascular surgery. He treats a wide variety of peripheral and arterial disease and venous disorders, with primary clinical interests in treatment of aortic disorders and minimally invasive treatment for vascular disease. In practice since 2003, he is highly skilled in both traditional open vascular surgery and minimally invasive endovascular surgery.

His patients describe him as a professional and friendly physician who makes them comfortable when they ask questions.

Dr. Foteh also trains other vascular specialists in advanced endovascular treatment and has co-authored several book chapters and journal articles.
