In the Pink of Health Luncheon

In the Pink of Health, hosted by the Memorial Hermann Foundation, is a breast cancer awareness luncheon for women of all ages. The purpose of this upbeat day of celebration is to build passion for the cause of breast cancer, education and outreach. It is the largest event of its kind in The Woodlands community and surrounding Montgomery County area.

Since its inception in 2001, In the Pink of Health has raised over $1 million to support the Breast and Bone Health Center at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands. One hundred percent of the funds raised from In The Pink of Health are allocated to three primary areas – education, technology and community outreach. Throughout the years, proceeds have allowed for the purchase of state-of-the-art screening and diagnostic equipment; access to free mammograms and care for underserved women; provide education resources for newly diagnosed patients; and most recently, funding for a support program to work with children of those affected by breast cancer.
