Support Nepal Relief Efforts During This Year’s Employee Campaign

Help Nepal

On Sunday, April 26th, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck the Himalayan nation of Nepal. As of Wednesday, April 29th, an estimated 6,500 people had been injured by the earthquake, and more than 5,200 people have perished. Officials estimate that more than 8 million people have been impacted, leaving thousands of people homeless, hungry, and in desperate need of medical assistance.

Many concerned Memorial Hermann employees have asked: “How can I help?” We heard you, and have established the Nepal Relief Fund through the Memorial Hermann Foundation and in partnership with Medical Missions.

As we have just launched the Employee Campaign, we have added the Nepal Relief Fund as one of the opportunities to support within the campaign. Employees can drop off the completed form with the Employee Campaign co-chair at their campus.

The Memorial Hermann Health System will make a gift of $15,000 to support this relief effort.

Thank you for joining us in this initiative to help the victims of Nepal. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those who have been affected by this disaster.
