Overview

To communicate the effectiveness and necessity of collaboration in the education and utilization of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) in today’s challenging healthcare environment. Additionally, this conference presents best practices for increasing access to quality healthcare through APRN, physician and interpersonal collaboration.

Objectives

At the completion of this course, attendees should be able to:

  • Examine the APRN role and value in the delivery of high quality healthcare
  • Implement strategies to deliver high quality healthcare by utilizing APRNs to the full extent of their scope of practice
  • Identify best practices and collaborative processes for intraprofessional delivery of healthcare
