Gastrointestinal Disorders
Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital has a Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Division where we diagnose and manage digestive, nutritional and liver diseases in children. Our team members serve as case managers for children who require nutritional support, and they also provide medical support for the Memorial Hermann liver transplant team.
Team members diagnose and treat other types of digestive diseases, such as failure to thrive and inflammatory bowel disease. Both a dietitian and social worker are assigned to all our gastrointestinal patients.
Our physicians see outpatients at The Kid's Place in the UT Professional Building, located across the street from Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital.
