Otolaryngology Treatment Center

Our inpatient Otolaryngology Treatment Center maintains a specialized treatment area for diagnostic services and treatment of patients with head and neck disorders.

The Center is staffed by faculty and residents of The University of Texas Medical School at Houston, and services are available to all otolaryngologists with admitting privileges at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center.

We offer the following special procedures for children:

• Audiology evaluations
• Tracheostomy care with patient and family education
• Follow-up care for maxillofacial trauma

At our outpatient clinic we care for common childhood ear, nose and throat problems, including otitis media, sinusitis, tonsil and adenoid disease, upper airway obstruction, sleep apnea and tumors of the head and neck.

Less common diagnoses we treat include laryngeal and tracheal tumors, acquired or congenital hearing loss and pediatric facial and neck trauma.
