Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Clinic
About Our Program
Our multi-disciplinary clinic was created with the understanding that children with TSC can greatly benefit from care that is specially tailored and coordinated to meet their needs.
The multi-disciplinary Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston, in affiliation with Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, is staffed by a team of pediatricians and physicians who are dedicated to providing coordinated medical and surgical care for TSC patients with multi-system problems. We offer specialists in: Genetics, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, Nephrology, Ophthalmology and Cardiology. Patients are seen by specialists with the expertise to care for their particular symptoms. Learn more about our team of specialists.
The purpose of our program is not to replace, but to assist, the primary care physician (PCP) in managing the aspects of TSC that can affect their patient’s life. We work closely with your PCP to ensure that you get individually tailored care. Additional testing, if needed, will be arranged during or after your visit. Follow-up visits to our clinic or other specialists will be arranged as needed.
To learn more about our program or to make an appointment, please call the TSC Clinic coordinator at (713) 500-7032 Monday through Wednesday 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
