Memorial Hermann Life Flight
The Emergency Center is served by Memorial Hermann Life Flight, which brings patients from as far away as 150 miles. The service operates 24 hours a day and has flown more than 95,000 missions since 1976. Approximately one out of four calls involves a child.
Life Flight relies on community support to fund the service, which receives no tax-dollar support. Memorial Hermann invests about $3 million annually in the program.
