Medication Services

Do you suffer from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder or some other condition that may be controllable with the right medications? Did you know the wait time to receive an evaluation by a psychiatrist for these and other conditions like ADD/ADHD or post traumatic stress disorder is often 8-10 months?

Answering the needs of our community, the Memorial Hermann Counseling Center now offers evaluation by a medical specialist, medication services and ongoing monitoring to help those who suffer get treated quickly and conveniently.

Our services are:

• Supervised by a psychiatrist who specializes in mental health
• Available without lengthy wait times
• Low cost

New patients first meet with a licensed mental health professional to provide background, personal and family history. Then they meet with a psychiatrist and, based upon their individual needs, may receive prescription medication treatment. Ongoing medication monitoring and refills are also included in our program.

Because insurance approval for these services frequently requires wait times and lots of paperwork – and getting an appointment can take even longer – our services are fee-based, very affordable and available right now.

Costs are $99 for the initial evaluation and $52 for medication monitoring. Our staff treats children and adults.
