As the founding hospital of the Texas Medical Center, Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center (TMC) established itself as a leader in the healthcare industry. With its marquee location, the new plaza is the largest medical office building in the medical center and also includes 20,000 square feet of retail space. The building features a 10-floor parking garage with 2,500 parking spaces, valet and patient drop-off station and is accessible from Main, Fannin and MacGregor streets.

Ambulatory Care

Located just above the parking area, the Ambulatory Care Center includes a surgery center, imaging center, breast center and the Roger Clemens Institute. The surgery center is outfitted with five operating rooms, with the ability to expand to seven, two endoscopy suites and dedicated preoperative and recovery beds.

An adjacent pre-procedure testing center will open in the first half of 2007. With expansion capabilities for future equipment, the imaging center houses a 3.0 Tesla MRI, 16-slice CT scanner and general radiology area with fluoroscopy, ultrasound and nuclear medicine services. The breast center features digital mammography, ultrasound, bone densitometry and stereotactic breast biopsy services, as well as a dedicated pediatric/family waiting and changing area.
 
Through the partnership established between Memorial Hermann and Roger and Debbie Clemens, the state-of-the-art Roger Clemens Institute facility offers a comprehensive suite of services to help every athlete – recreational, competitive or professional - perform at their highest level. Highly skilled physicians and staff work with athletes deliver individualized treatment and training programs in the areas of:
