Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital

Ambulatory Medicine Center

Wound Treatment

Northwest Hospital’s Wound Treatment Center can help with difficult-to-heal wounds. Skilled, caring professionals – physicians, nurses, and technicians – provide individualized care plans.

The most common conditions we evaluate and treat include non-healing wounds resulting from:

  • Arterial insufficiency
  • Venous insufficiency
  • Collagen disorders
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Pressure ulcers
  • Trauma
  • Insect bites

Our multidisciplinary approach to wound treatment includes assessment, vascular studies, infection control, wound excision, skin grafting, nutrition, protection devices, patient and family education and referrals.
