University Place Retirement Community and Nursing Center: Personal Assistance Services

University Place
Retirement Community and Nursing Center

Personal Assistance Services (PAS)

While residents are required to be completely independent when they move into University Place, Personal Assistance Services (PAS) are provided if and when the need arises.

PAS can be provided in the privacy of a resident's apartment. Among the services offered are medication reminders, three daily meals and up to two hours of care daily over a 24-hour period, enabling residents to live with greater independence for as long as possible.

PAS in the short-term is designed to quickly return residents to independent living and the familiar surroundings of their apartment. On a long-term basis, PAS are provided on University Place's 5th floor. There, residents can live in the comfort of a full-scale apartment and have immediate access to activities and dining that focus primarily on PAS residents.
