Pediatric Care

Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital offers your child access to the advanced medical equipment and expert care offered by a full-service, university-affiliated hospital. Children's Memorial Hermann has 110 pediatric beds dedicated to providing outstanding care for everything from life-threatening injuries to routine medical procedures.

Pediatric services include:

• Imaging Services
  Pediatric Imaging Services delivers high-quality, state-of-the-art diagnostic services with the special needs and age-related limitations of children in mind. Our friendly, caring staff is skilled in pediatric imaging and takes steps to help ensure a positive experience.
• Inpatient Care
  Depending on the nature of the treatment required, children receive care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Children’s Special Care Unit, or in either The Children’s Center or Roger & Debbie Clemens Pediatric Wing.
  
• Observation Unit
  The Pediatric Observation Unit (POU) provides specialized and routine short-term care to children who require 23 hours of observation or less.
  
• Outpatient Surgery
• Rehabilitation Services
  The Rehabilitation Services department at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital offers a full range of therapy services to both inpatient and outpatient children.
