Memorial Hermann Greater Heights offers a variety of neurological diagnostic tests. Under the direction of your physician, we have the trained staff and diagnostic tools to evaluate a wide range of neurological disorders.
Patients requiring additional neuroscience services have access to world-class neurologists at Mischer Neuroscience Associates, which is affiliated with the Mischer Neuroscience Institute at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center.
As part of the Telemedicine Program at Mischer Neuroscience Institute, we use robot technology that allows physicians to collaborate with each other and view patients from remote locations. Through this innovative device, a patient at Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital can be seen by experts at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and the UTHealth Medical School.
The Remote Presence System robot is fully portable and equipped with two-way audio/video, allowing physicians to see and hear patients and view monitors and other clinical data firsthand. Medical devices such as a digital stethoscope or pulse oximeter can be plugged into the robot, enabling firsthand remote diagnostics. This reduces the burden on nursing staff to describe or explain subtle changes in a patient's condition. Physicians at our hospital can then consult directly with specialists at Mischer Neuroscience Institute to discuss treatment.
