At Memorial Hermann Katy, we treat patients experiencing an array of neurological disorders in all stages, from the earliest symptoms through established disease. Our 3.0 Tesla MRI, the highest field-strength MRI available, means quick studies with a shorter period of confinement in the magnet.
Stroke Care
Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital offers the expertise needed to quickly identify and treat stroke victims.
The primary reason stroke victims become incapacitated is that they don’t receive proper care within the critical three hours following the onset of symptoms. To accelerate treatment, Memorial Hermann Katy uses advanced imaging technologies to quickly diagnose and thoroughly assess the condition of all neurology patients.
Patients who don’t respond to initial treatment, require invasive procedures or need treatment outside of the critical three-hour treatment window may be transported via Life Flight® air ambulance or otherwise to Level 1 or Level 2 stroke centers within the Memorial Hermann stroke network, including Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and Memorial Hermann Southwest.
