The Neuroscience program at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital offers residents of northeast Harris County and eastern Montgomery County access to the highest quality treatment for neurological disorders that can be achieved in a community setting.
Using state-of-the-art technology, our team of experts can diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological disorders and conditions, including stroke, sleep disorders, and complex spine surgery. Our experienced, highly trained neurologists apply advanced techniques and technologies in the diagnosis, evaluation, management, and treatment of patients with neurological disorders.

Stroke Center
Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital is part of the region’s first and largest stroke care network, encompassing all nine of Memorial Hermann’s acute-care hospitals. Establishing the region’s largest stroke network was a voluntary process that provides one more example of how Memorial Hermann goes beyond to provide the highest level of care.
Memorial Hermann Northeast has been recognized by SETRAC - the Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council - as a Level II Stroke Center. In addition, Memorial Hermann Northeast has acquired certification from The Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Our Neuroscience program reflects Memorial Hermann's commitment in providing leading-edge treatments to acute stroke patients. The stroke team consists of affiliated, skilled neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, Emergency Center physicians, hospitalists, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, dietitians and speech therapists.
Neurosurgery and Spine Surgery
Memorial Hermann Northeast, in association with the Mischer Neuroscience Institute at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, has a full-time affiliated neurosurgeon, Albert Fenoy, M.D., on the faculty of The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He is fully-trained in spinal and cranial surgery and performs abroad spectrum of neurological procedures. Dr. Fenoy providesboth minimally invasive and noninvasive treatments.
