Our highly skilled orthopedic team consists of affiliated, board-certified orthopedic surgeons, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists. Our services include inpatient and outpatient care for sports injuries and treatments; orthopedic problems associated with shoulder, elbow ,wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, and foot injuries; back, neck and shoulder pain; knee ligament reconstruction; and soft-tissue injuries.
Individualized orthopedic care and customized treatment programs are delivered by experienced sports medicine-trained affiliated orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and athletic trainers.
Physicians and caregivers at our Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Centers prepare athletes of all levels, including high school and college players, to compete at their highest level while preventing injuries. When injuries do occur, we focus on providing customized and specialized care to ensure the fastest possible recovery and a safe return to daily activities.
Memorial Hermann’s Athletic Trainer Outreach Team of licensed athletic trainers work directly with team trainers, coaches and athletes, providing essential sports medicine guidance and support. As allied healthcare professionals, the Outreach Team collaborates with affiliated physicians and physical therapists to help prevent, evaluate and treat sports injuries to help athletes get back to their sports as quickly and safely as possible.
Our Licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer, dedicated to serve schools in the Bay Area of Houston, works in tandem with Memorial Hermann’s affiliated sports medicine physicians, using advanced diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, performance testing, improvement and emergency care capabilities. The result is highly specialized, comprehensive healthcare, customized for recreational, competitive and professional athletes of all ages. The trainer provides expedited access to appointments and emergency centers, in addition to coordinated access to specialized resources such as sports concussion management and Saturday Sports Injury Clinic during fall sports season. Memorial Hermann Pearland is proud to be the official healthcare provider of Pearland Independent School District, providing medical support and services to their athletic programs.
