Sports-related injuries affect everyone from professional athletes to Little League players. If you are recovering from a sports injury, the Center for Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital can help you evaluate and improve your condition.

We offer physical therapy and pain management for orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders and other medical conditions, as well as aquatic therapy, sports evaluation and fitness memberships for people of all ages and skill levels. We incorporate your personal performance goals into a customized fitness plan or treatment program.

Licensed physical therapists and exercise physiologists help you reach your performance goals, whether they include recovery from injury or improving personal strength, endurance and flexibility.

• Orthopedic rehabilitation with a sports medicine approach at all stages of recovery, including after surgery
• Physical therapy
• Occupational therapy
• Pain management
• Spine rehabilitation using the McKenzie method
• Aquatic therapy
• Sports and fitness evaluation including functional capacity evaluations and isokinetic testing using the Biodex isokinetic dynamometer
• Strength, endurance and flexibility training using a full range of exercise equipment designed for both cardiovascular and isotonic workouts
• Fitness memberships
• Impairment ratings approved by the Texas Workers Compensation Commission
