Front Desk Volunteer

The Front Desk Volunteer will serve as the first point of contact for hospital visitors.

The Front Desk Volunteer is responsible for the following:

  • Greeting and acknowledging all visitors in the hospital lobby

  • Answering questions from visitors and providing directions regarding locations within the hospital

  • Using the computer to access patient information for visitors

  • Answering telephones

Qualifications:

Must have excellent customer service and communication skills

Must have a friendly and professional demeanor

Must be dependable

Must have basic computer skills

Physical Requirements:

This position requires intermittent periods of time sitting at a desk and walking around the lobby area to assist patients and visitors.
