Volunteers at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land provide support to a variety of departments throughout the hospital. Assignments include both clerical and non-clerical activities. Our ultimate goal is to match your interest and talents with available volunteer opportunities. A sampling of service opportunities include:

Volunteer Requirements - Adult Program
- Be willing to volunteer one 3-4 hour shift per week for one (1) year;
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Weekend hours are also available in our Gift Shop.)
- Submit application; successfully complete background check, orientation and tuberculosis screening
- Purchase uniform and pay auxiliary membership dues ($10.00/year)
- Friendly, positive attitude; good communication skills
- Adhere to hospital policies and regulations
- Capacity to be empathetic and demonstrate genuine concern for patients and families
- Participate in annual Joint Commission refresher course
