Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is recognized as an important addition to a proper wound care regimen in patients with advanced diabetic lower extremity ulcers and other conditions. And for tissues adversely affected by radiation therapy, HBOT has proven effective in encouraging the new capillary growth needed to increase the delivery of oxygen that fosters healing of damaged tissues. Learn more about HBOT at Memorial Hermann.
