Convenient self-parking is available in surface Lot DD via the main entrance to TIRR, on Moursund. Self-parking is also available in Garage 6, located adjacent to the hospital. Wheelchair accessible parking is available in both lots.
EasyPay Parking
All Texas Medical Center parking facilities use EasyPay Parking – a self-pay system that allows visitors to pay by machine prior to exiting the facility. EasyPay machines accept cash and credit cards.
Signage is available throughout the garage and at the EasyPay machines to help visitors with parking. Parking ambassadors are also available for those who need assistance and can be called by pressing the call button located on all EasyPay machines.
New technology allowing visitors to bypass the EasyPay station and make a credit card payment at the facility exit of Garage 6 is now available.

Lower Rates for Long-term Parking
If you are planning to park for several consecutive days or for repeated visits to the Texas Medical Center, we encourage you to purchase a Visitor Parking Pass. The discounted pass offers unlimited 24-hour, in-and-out access to Lot DD and Garage 6.
The 5- and 30-Day Passes are designed for patients and visitors who need to park for several consecutive days in a row. The 7-Day Select Pass meets the parking needs of those who frequent the Texas Medical Center on a regular basis, but not for several consecutive days.
Visitor passes may be purchased within the gift shop at TIRR or at the Texas Medical Center Parking and Transportation Office, located on street level of Garage 2, at 1155 W. Holcombe Blvd.

Caring for a loved one takes an emotional and physical toll and often turns the lives of families upside down. For families of out-of-town patients, the situation is compounded by worries over where to stay during the long process of rehabilitation.Many hotels, motels and campgrounds are located near the Texas Medical Center, and several offer special discounts for patients and visitors. The Social Work department at TIRR Memorial Hermann has compiled a list of local hotel and motel accommodations that we make available to patients, family members and friends. Special Travel Needs - International Patients
George Bush Intercontinental Airport Assistance provides special service representatives who are fluent in 20 languages and are on call 24 hours a day, ready to assist arriving patients with baggage claims, transportation, hotel selection and information on their chosen healthcare provider. Prior to your arrival contact the Admissions team at TIRR, on your behalf they will call to schedule Intercontinental Airport Assistance for international patients.
The International Medical Visitor Service Center at Bush Intercontinental Airport is available to international patients and international visitors of the Texas Medical Center. Located on the ground floor of the international terminal, the center offers a comfortable place to relax after a long flight.
Visitor center amenities include a staffed reception area, a lobby with television and comfortable seating, a children's playroom, restrooms, telephone access, a refrigerator stocked with refreshments and information about participating Texas Medical Center institutions.
Special Travel Needs - Domestic Patients
Hobby Airport Assistance provides special service representatives who are fluent in English and Spanish and are available between 5:30am – 8:30pm, ready to assist arriving patients with baggage claims, transportation, hotel selection and information on the Texas Medical Center. Prior to your arrival, contact the Admissions team at TIRR to schedule Hobby Airport Assistance on your behalf.
Tours
We welcome prospective patients and their families to tour our facilities, get answers to their questions and gain knowledge of the hospital’s services and the rehabilitation process. To arrange a tour, please call 713-797-7754 or toll free 1-800-44 REHAB (73422). Our comprehensive guided visits provide prospective patients and their family members the opportunity to see the hospital environment, including therapy areas and patient rooms.
