Occupational & Hand Therapy
Our certified therapists offer a broad range of treatment modalities related to the hand and wrist, including manual therapy, soft-tissue massage, splint fabrication, scar management, myofascial release and more. These services have proven effective in patients injured by accident or trauma resulting in wounds, scars, burns, injured tendons or nerves, fractures or amputation of the finger, hand or arm. These services can also be effective for patients who require occupational therapy.
Our hand therapists also help patients regain and maintain function lost in the upper quadrants due to the disabling effects of cumulative trauma disorders, such as tennis elbow or carpal tunnel syndrome, or chronic problems such as arthritis or neurological conditions.

Staff and Certifications
Using specialized assessment and treatment skills, a certified hand therapist (CHT) or certified orthopedic manual therapist (COMT) works with physicians and patients to provide a continuum of care. Depending on the nature of the disorder, treatment begins within days of the injury or surgery and continues until the patient's return to a productive lifestyle. Hand therapy is offered through our Occupational Therapy department.
