Physician Biography

Dr. Mark Adickes, M.D. is an Assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston and Co-medical director of the Ironman Sports Medicine Institute at Memorial Hermann. He is the team physician for the U.S. Ski Team, Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, Second Baptist School and St. Thomas University.

Dr. Adickes is board certified in orthopedics and was trained in orthopedics and sports medicine at Harvard Medical School and Steadman Hawkins Clinic. He is a former Baylor University All-American, 10-year NFL veteran and member of the 1991 Washington Redskins Super Bowl Championship team.

Dr. Adickes specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of knee, shoulder and hip injuries and disorders.
