Dr. Dorothy R Lamping

Physician Biography

The daughter of a physician, Dr. Lamping earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston before completing her residency at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital. She is board certified in family practice medicine. Her special interests include smoking cessation, asthma, migraines and preventive medicine.

Dr. Lamping has practiced medicine for more than two decades and is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, the Harris County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association. The mother of three grown children, Dr. Lamping enjoys treating entire families, from pediatrics to geriatrics. She takes into consideration each patient’s lifestyle, relationships, influences and medical history.
