Physician Biography
A graduate of Iran University of Medical Sciences and Health Services in Tehran, Iran, Dr. Zahedi completed her residency training at the Baylor Family Medicine Residency Program in Garland, Texas, and continued her medical training at the Washington University Geriatric Fellowship Program in St. Louis, Missouri.
Before joining Memorial Hermann Medical Group, Dr. Zahedi was an emergency room physician and private practitioner in Iran and served as a primary care physician at Barnes Jewish Medical Group in St. Louis. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association and American Geriatrics Society.
Fluent in Farsi, Dr. Zahedi provides highly personalized care to her patients ages two and up and focuses on preventive medicine. Dr. Zahedi emphasizes the importance of getting to know her patients and treats each with special care and diligence.
She enjoys spending time with her family, taking her two children to the zoo and staying active.
