would like to address a concerning video circulating on social media featuring
racist and inappropriate comments.
important to reiterate that the physician assistant in the video is not and has
never been a Memorial Hermann employee. He is a former employee of TeamHealth.
As previously shared, he is no longer seeing patients at any Memorial Hermann
we were first made aware of some of these messages, we escalated to his
employer for investigation. However, in light of information learned last week
from the video, we are disappointed that we didn’t take additional actions
statements in this video are appalling and in complete opposition to who we are
as an organization and what we stand for. These comments fly in the face of our
commitment to fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion that makes us such
an exemplary place to work and to seek care.
