Memorial Hermann’s Growing Occupational Health Network Expands Into Cypress
HOUSTON (August22,
2017)
Employees and
employers in Cypress now have access to a comprehensive suite of workplace
health services thanks to the recent addition of new clinic dedicated
exclusively to occupational medicine.
Memorial Hermann Occupational
Medicine Cypress Clinic, located at 27700 Northwest Freeway adjacent to the newly opened Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital, offers a complete
range of services aimed at establishing and maintaining a healthier workforce
in the area. The clinic’s highly trained providers are committed to working
with local employers to ensure that their employees receive the injury care
they need when they need it, with the goal of helping them return to work as
soon as possible.
“We
are thrilled to bring our specialized occupational medicine services to the
Cypress community,” said Dr. Annamaria Macaluso Davidson, an occupational medicine
specialist who will oversee the Cypress clinic. “Memorial Hermann is committed
to advancing health in the populations we serve. We look forward to partnering with employees
and employers in this region, improving workplace health through prevention and
treatment.”
As part of the Memorial Hermann Health System,
Memorial Hermann Occupational Medicine Cypress Clinic is able to offer a unique
set of advantages to both employers and their workers, including extensive
knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) protocols;
online appointment scheduling; seamless continuity of care through the System’s
extensive network of care sites and affiliated physicians; and easy access to
higher-acuity care when needed.
In addition to
OSHA-sensitive, work-related injury assessments and treatments, Memorial
Hermann Occupational Medicine Katy also offers an array of other services
including physicals, disability evaluations, biometric screenings and
immunizations, among other specialized services.
The newly opened
clinic is the latest example of Memorial Hermann’s continued commitment to
partner with local businesses and their workers to ensure that their medical
needs are addressed with high-quality and safe patient care tailored
specifically to their needs. Memorial Hermann has opened two other occupational
medicine clinics so far this year in Katy and in Wharton and is planning to
open several more across the region in the coming months.
The clinic is open
from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, please call 346.231.6980
