The LPGA Tour Championship is proud to announce the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System as the championship's official healthcare provider and its Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital as the primary benefiting charity. Memorial Hermann, which won the nation's top healthcare quality award in 2009, will provide on-course first aid for patrons and medical support for the LPGA players.

"We are proud to partner with the LPGA," said Dan Wolterman, Memorial Hermann President and CEO.  "With our state-of-the-art medical facilities and the services of the talented physicians and staff associated with the Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine Institute, the athletes of the LPGA will have access to first-class medical resources."

Memorial Hermann will also have a presence at the tournament with their logo on all the volunteer shirts and a tent where spectators can stop by and receive more information about the services Memorial Hermann provides. In addition, Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital has been designated as the primary benefiting charity of the LPGA Tour Championship.

"We are exited about bringing Memorial Hermann into the fold at the LPGA Tour Championship," said Tournament Director Becky Newell. "They are a top-rated facility who will assist us in bringing a great experience to the LPGA players, sponsors, spectators and volunteers."
