Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital Offers Free Women’s Health Seminar

Look and Feel Terrific During Menopause
Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital will host a free menopause management education program, aimed at providing medical information and peer support to women dealing with the physical and psychological impact of menopause. The seminar will be held Thursday, Jan. 20, 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., at the Golfcrest Country Club, 2509 Country Club Drive, in Pearland, Texas.
Dr. Swet Chaudhari, M.D., plastic surgeon affiliated with Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital, will present, "Hanging On to What We've Got: Looking Terrific During Menopause," including information on the changes that take place to the skin and body during menopause, and how to look great during this phase. In addition, Jean Krebs, PhD., registered dietitian at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital, will present, "Prescription for a Healthy Life: Nutrition, Exercise and Weight Management." Krebs will give details on the importance of nutrition, exercise, and weight management, and tips for eating better to feel better.
The event is presented in conjunction with Red Hot Mamas, ® the nation's largest menopause management education program. Its mission is to broaden the base of women's knowledge about menopause and empower them to become educated healthcare consumers.
All women, their partners and family members are urged to attend this event to learn about this critical aspect of their health and become proactive in managing their own healthcare.
