Memorial Hermann Southeast Nurses Receive Surprise Visit

TEXAS MEDICAL CENTER (July15, 2010)

Nurses at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital received an uplifting visit from Nurse Helen Neville who set foot on a 100-day, 2,520-mile run from California to Florida to pass on the message of healthy living to nurses nationwide. Neville has survived cancer and three brain surgeries. She believes that while there's life, there is hope. Neville shared her story with staff at Memorial Hermann Southeast in hopes that she could encourage nurses to reach higher levels of mental, emotional and physical wellness so that they may better serve their patients.
