Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine Institute stars in new Fox Sports series

HOUSTON, TX (September03, 2009)

 

Athlete 360, a new Fox Sports Houston television series sponsored by Memorial Hermann, debuted Sept. 3.  Featuring the Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine Institute as its host location, Athlete 360 is a 30-minute program dedicated to all aspects of sports medicine and features the stories of well-known athletes. Nine episodes give viewers a detailed look at the science behind sports medicine.

Mark Adickes, M.D., orthopedic surgeon and a co-medical director of the Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine Institute, hosts. A former pro football player and Super Bowl Champ, Dr. Adickes played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Washington Redskins before graduating from Harvard Medical School. His combined experience as both "jock and doc" uniquely qualifies him to host the show.
