Memorial Hermann Named One of Houston’s Best Places to Work for Fourth Consecutive Year

Houston, Texas, July 9, 2007 – The Houston Business Journal recently named Memorial Hermann as one of Houston’s Best Places to Work based on an overwhelming employee response to the publication’s request for submissions. This is the fourth consecutive year that Memorial Hermann Healthcare System has been ranked on the list.

The program drew more than 180 nominations from various companies that were impartially evaluated, scored and ranked. In the end, 52 were chosen to be honored as Best Places to Work.

Employees from these nominated companies throughout the city were asked to complete a questionnaire broken down into 10 different categories, from team effectiveness and retention risk, to trust with coworkers, work engagement and people practices.

Maintaining the same position as last year, Memorial Hermann ranked seventh in the category of companies based in Houston with 501+ employees.
