Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital Names Finance Expert as Chief Financial Officer

Houston, Texas, July 21, 2005 – Hospital finance expert Kevin Lovinggood has joined Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital as its chief financial officer.

Lovinggood most recently served as regional director of finance for Christus Health Southeast Texas in Beaumont. He has also worked in key financial roles, including controller, at hospitals in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas.

“We will benefit tremendously from Kevin's extensive experience with hospital finance during this period of transition, as we continue to offer top-quality care in our current location while building a new facility,” said Scott Barbe, CEO of Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital.

Lovinggood is a certified public accountant. He holds a master's degree in advanced business from the University of Houston and a bachelor's in accounting/business from the University of Texas at Austin.
