Mother's Journey Wins Honor

Houston, Texas. October 31, 2003 -- Though readers have known all along, it’s now official—advice given to expectant mothers through Memorial Hermann Healthcare System’s Mother’s Journey newsletter is award-winning. The publication has received the APEX award, which recognizes excellence in print work done by professional communicators. Mother’s Journey was judged as distinguished in design, editorial content and communications. There were nearly 5,000 entries in this year’s competition, with only 1,542 winners.

Mother’s Journey newsletter is tied to a Memorial Hermann membership program by the same name, which helps expectant mothers with their busy lives by providing customized health and wellness articles like “How to Control Your Blood Pressure During Pregnancy” and “Bed-Wetting: A Survival Guide for You and Your Child.”.
