Memorial Hermann Medical Group Introduces Northwest Orthopaedic Surgical Associates

Houston, Texas, November 9, 2006 – Adam E. Klein, M.D., has founded Northwest Orthopaedic Surgical Associates, the latest component of Memorial Hermann Medical Group, a physician-led subsidiary of Memorial Hermann Healthcare System. The practice is located on the campus of Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital.

Dr. Klein has served on several key hospital committees at Memorial Hermann Northwest. A board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Klein is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons with expertise in knee and hip replacement procedures. After graduating from University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Klein obtained his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, completed his orthopaedic residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and served a fellowship in adult reconstruction at Allegheny University Hospitals in Philadelphia.
   

Practicing within Northwest Orthopaedic Surgical Associates will allow Dr. Klein to focus on each patient’s personal healthcare needs while drawing on the resources, innovations and technological advancements of a well-respected healthcare system.

Dr. Klein will continue to treat existing patients and grow his practice while Memorial Hermann will provide business office and technology support services to the practice including deploying an integrated electronic medical record, billing and collecting, insurance reimbursement contracting and information technology. Additional physicians are expected to join Northwest Orthopaedic Surgical Associates as the practice grows.
