Physician Biography
A graduate of Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, Dr. Maislos completed his medical training at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School and his residency in urology at State University of New York at Downstate -- affiliated with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He completed a fellowship in robotic, laparoscopic and minimally invasive urologic surgery at Urology San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas.
Board certified in urology, Dr. Maislos has been caring for patients in Houston since 2005.
Fluent in Spanish, he treats men, women and children for general and specialized urologic problems. His clinical interest is in minimally invasive therapeutic options for urologic diseases.
Outside of the hospital and office, Dr. Maislos finds time to give free prostate cancer screenings and lectures at community health fairs and events, and volunteers his medical services as a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo health committee.
