Physician Biography
Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Deepti Mishra received her medical degree from The University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss. She then completed her residency in internal medicine and fellowship training in geriatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in Galveston, Texas.
A member of the Memorial Hermann Medical Group, Dr. Mishra sees patients 15 years and older. Her special interests include adolescent, young adult and women’s health. She believes prevention is the key to effective disease management and encourages her patients to lead a lifestyle that includes a healthy diet and exercise.
Practicing medicine since 2000, Dr. Mishra strives to establish a good rapport with each of her patients. She develops individualized treatment plans to help patients manage chronic medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol.
A Friendswood resident, Dr. Mishra is married and enjoys watching her three sons play lacrosse, as well as reading, baking, interior decorating and traveling.
