Dr. Camille V Boon

Physician Biography

A native Houstonian, Dr. Camille Boon graduated from Rice University in Houston, and earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School where she was named outstanding intern. She also was recognized with the Teaching Award from Tulane School of Medicine for teaching students who were displaced by Hurricane Katrina.

Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Boon has been in private practice in Houston since 2008. Texas Monthly recognized her as a Texas Top Doc Rising Star for 2012. Fluent in French and Spanish, Dr. Boon takes care of women through all stages of life. She enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them understand their condition so they can be actively involved in decisions about their health. Her clinical interests are minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, pregnancy care and encouraging breastfeeding.

Away from the office, Dr. Boon likes to spending time with her husband and two young sons. A four-time Houston marathoner, she also enjoys cooking and reading fiction.
