Dr. Mark L. Prasarn, M.D. is the Spine Surgery Consultant for the Houston Texans and the University of Houston. He completed his residency at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Orthopaedic Surgery and is a graduate of Cornell University and NYU School of Medicine.
Dr. Prasarn is fellowship trained in spine surgery at the University of Rochester, as well as Orthopedic Trauma at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, New York. He was also a Visiting Spine Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Prasarn specializes in degenerative spine surgery, spine trauma, and complex fractures.
