Physician Biography
A graduate of Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, Dr.
Ahmed completed a rheumatology fellowship at State University of New York,
Stony Brook, and a geriatrics fellowship at Tulane University Medical Center
in New Orleans. Dr. Ahmed is board certified in rheumatology, internal
medicine and geriatrics.
Practicing medicine in Texas since 2000, Dr.
Ahmed believes in the importance of taking the time with each patient to
listen and explain their diagnosis and treatment options thoroughly. He is a
member of the American College of Rheumatology.
Dr. Ahmed lives in
Sugar Land with his wife Arza and enjoys traveling, playing the flute and
reading poetry and novels.
